Innovations at Pharmapack 2020 –
see us there

Oegstgeest, The Netherlands: New and better packaging options for pharma will be on show at the Avery Dennison Pharmapack booth. It’s a valuable opportunity for brands, manufacturers and converters to see more productive ways ahead.

Security and compliance are always at the top of the pharma agenda. Independent testing of the Avery Dennison pharma labelling portfolio means easier implementation, less chance of application challenges and fewer recalls. Our focus is on taking you from initial ideas to full qualification in the shortest possible time, with a tailored solution that handles your precise requirement – anything from supply chain tracking through to extreme low temperatures.

Make sure you visit our booth H62 at Pharmapack (February 5-6, 2020)
to see the very latest innovations:

Injection devices labels

The benefits of pre-filled syringes are beyond doubt, but they present a major labelling challenge, with small diameter containers and difficult substrates. Avery Dennison’s specialist materials include label materials for syringes, vials, test tubes and other applications. They ensure outstanding tight mandrel performance without edge lift, and also ensure a low risk of adhesive migration into package contents.

Cold chain applications

The pharma industry needs labels that can perform at temperatures down to -196°C. Our breakthrough C2050P adhesive is the first adhesive capable of being applied at the temperatures required by the latest medical breakthroughs – it can be applied down to -50°C, and holds fast, down to -196°C. That means fewer temperature changes and more reliable labelling for vaccine manufacture, plasma processing, clinical trials and more.

Tamper Proof Seal Blue

Security has become more and more important to the pharmaceutical industry, especially following the EU’s falsified medicine directive implemented in February 2019. Our Tamper Proof Seal Blue solution is an important step forward, complementing our existing portfolio of tamper evident labels. It leaves a light blue mark behind when the seal is broken, and offers a price-competitive solution for the vast majority of pharmaceutical packages available on the market.

RFID labels

RFID technology helps you to better manage inventory, increase efficiencies, and ensure the wellbeing of patients. It enables itemizing and sorting stock to ensure quality and prevent waste – and helps to save lives by giving clinicians key information. Our RFID inlays and technologies provide end-to-end inventory and item tracking solutions for increased accuracy, visibility, and security, starting at the point of manufacture. Ask us about managing expiration, seeing drug availability, saving pharmacy time and much more.
